At least 7 killed as railway bridge collapses

AT least seven people were killed and 21 injured when an arch on a steel railway bridge collapsed yesterday morning in Wenzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province, according to sources with the Wenzhou city government.
The accident occurred at about 9am when the arch on the under-construction Wenzhou-Fuzhou Railway collapsed, hitting three nearby houses and burying at least 28 people.
More than 450 firefighters and policemen, and nine fire engines rushed to the accident site for rescue operations.
