What impresses Hong Kong director Andrew Lau most about Beijing is the delicious food.
"Beijing's food, like Beijing's culture, represents a distillation of the best the world has to offer," Lau explains. "It is really worthy of appreciation and respect."
In the Hongkonger's five-minute movie on the Chinese capital, a multitude of foods, including Beijing duck in fancy restaurants and snack stands along the street, are ready to entice the audience.
Like the other four short Olympic promotional films, the cuisine-themed movie made its world premiere on February 28, 2008.
