Japan bank to open branch in Hangzhou

An official with Japan Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) announced yesterday in Hangzhou that it's branch in the city, the first foreign-funded bank in the city, will open at the end of this year. The bank official made the announcement on Tuesday while attending a business environment promotion fair by hangzhou Xiacheng District.
